Day 1 Paro to Thimphu

As you step out of the plane you can witness the beautiful landlocked terrene of Paro valley. Received in harmony by the team of Druk Regal Tours you will be escorted towards the capital city of Bhutan.
Then we start our drive towards the capital city which is Thimphu(65 km).it will take about 2 hours and on the way, we will visit Tacho temple where an original iron made a bridge is presently built by the great iron chain builder Dupthop Thang Thong Gyalpo.
As we reach to Thimphu we then check into the hotel and we will go through the streets of the town for leisure or shopping.

Day 2: Thimphu

As the day begins we start the wedding ceremony by dressing up the bride and groom in our national dress Gho (for the groom) and Kira (for the bride).
We will then take the couple to an altar with chipdrel (procession ceremony). The wedding ceremony will start in the Bhutanese way and once the ceremony is over, there will be a program of gift exchange and offering of Khadar (white silk cloth).
After lunch, we will arrange you with beautiful traditional singing and dances performances for the couple to witness and to cherish the time with happiness.
As the sun comes down we prepare for you a candlelight dinner serving you with delicious Bhutanese cuisines.

Day 3: Thimphu

After breakfast, we visit Buddha point (Kuenselphodrang) and get refreshed by the beautiful scenes. Witness the tallest statue of Buddha Dordenma in the world which is 169ft.
Visit Memorial Chorten in the heart of the town. the stupa is a Tibetan style chorten dedicated to the third king Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, built in 1974. Then visit textile museum and folk heritage museum.
Visit Bhutan postal museum and craft bazaar.
Leisure time in the town.

Day 4 Thimphu to Punakha

After breakfast, we begin our journey to Punakha. Stop at Dochula pass for sightseeing of the beautiful Himalayas and the magnificent 108 stupas built in dedication to the fourth king Jigme Singey Wangchuck.
Take a short hike to Chimmi Lhakhang when reaching to lobesa, the temple built during the 15th century by the divine madman Drukpa Kunley. As the temple is considered a fertility temple we encourage you to make prayers for the best married life.
Once reaching to Punakha check into the hotel and after lunch, we visit Punakha Dzong (fortress of great happiness and bliss). Punakha district was the capital of the country 1995.
Then hike up to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel stupa. A beautiful place to refresh your mind and take photos.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro

After breakfast, we travel back to Paro. On the way take a walk through the national botanical park at Lam Pelri. Then drive to Dochula pass for some tea and more photographs.
As we reach to Paro we check into the hotel and after lunch, we visit the Taa Dzong(watch tower), Now converted as the national museum.
Walk a few distances downward or we can drive to visit the Rinpung fortress. After that, we visit Dungtsey temple.
Free time stroll through the Paro town.

Day 6: Paro

After breakfast hike up to the very famous Taktsang monastery (Tiger’s nest).The hike is about 4 hours and on the way, one can take beautiful pictures of the scenes. The monastery is built breathtakingly on a cliff and was founded by the great guru Padmasambhava who came on a spot flying on a burning tigress. If unable to walk we can arrange horses or mules at the base of the cliff.
